If you are a tech savvy you probably know about the upcoming iPhone 3G that was recently launched and will be available on selected countries on July 11, 2008. Unfortunately Philippines was not one of those countries mentioned but will be coming according to Apple Website here.
Basically all countries listed on July 11 public offering will have their iPhone tested on the ground. In line with our country Philippines, it is bounded by Globe Telecom to be distributed under contract, as far as I can tell. According to press release by Apple, they will be bringing this 3G iPhone in the Philippines this year.
A nice gadget with 3G capability, GPS mapping, Internet enabled and enterprise application like MS Exchange.
This will probably be another date to set on when will this iPhone be available in the Philippines that I am sure Globe Telecom will hit the mark for bringing this in along with their service.
More on Apple press release.
