Fujifilm USA add another J-Series Digital Camera on its line up featuring an affordable FinePix J150w. A
3.0-inch LCD capturing up to 10 Megapixel using a 1/2.5 inch CCD sensor incorporating 5.0x optical and 5.7x digital zoom. Featuring a wide range of new performance and capability wise specification including Face detection with Red-Eye removal system allowing the camera to eliminate red-eye automatically without user interaction.
“We have found that consumers are becoming more educated and are looking beyond the megapixel when purchasing a digital camera,” said David Troy, marketing manager, Consumer Digital Cameras, Electronic Imaging Division, FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. “The new FinePix J150w takes easy to use digital technology to the next level and offers new features such as Face Detection with automatic red eye removal and a 28mm equivalent wide-angle lens, all with a 3″ LCD, while remaining at a very attractive price point.”
This new camera housed on a 22.6 mm thick compact metal chassis think enough for easier accessibility when you need to capture an image. An internal memory of 24MB can be expanded using the provided memory card slot suitable for SD and SDHC memory cards. Supports AVI for video and JPEG for image file formats with USB 2.0 for transferring clips and images.
Priced set at $199.95 with September 2008 as a target date.
