Canon EOS 50D gets an official announcement featuring 15.1 megapixel resolution and Canon’s new DIGIC 4 image processor.Some enhancement on this new release includes expanded ISO range, improved noise reduction, in-camera photo editing features, and new Creative Auto Mode (CA) giving users flexibility on image setting adjustments.

Top of the line features offers Improved Image Quality using newly designed gapless microlenses over each pixel to reduce noise and expand sensitivity up to ISO 12800 and DIGIC 4 image processor contributing to the fast 6.3 frame-per-second (fps) continuous shooting capability, Better Live View including “Quick Mode AF,” “Live Mode AF,” and “Face Detection Live Mode AF” that detects up to 35 individual forward-looking faces for better focus and clarity, Two Small RAW Formats and EOS Integrated Cleaning System.
Set in October with a price tag of $1,399.
