Just before I write their new drive that can be used for Mac and Windows, actually this news was already posted last week on several blogs, I hesitantly have the article posted due to some discrepancies I have seen on the specification posted. It only say’s “reading speed” but not writing. Fire up some emails to the marketing Kevin and fortunately enough gets some answer and it is clear now folks. It can write at 2x on single layer BD-RE/-R and 1x on DL.

Unfortunately though, it seems that with this new announcement, their site is unreachable with “Bandwidth Exceeded!”. Cannot handle too much traffic? Sales?
